Our conference agenda this year opens with fantastic sessions on Monday that will be educational, informative and connect you with your CAPIO colleagues.  Included are off-property tours, teambuilding opportunities, our solution room, and an open discussion about PIO mental health.  The evening rounds out with the opportunity to continue the conversation with colleagues at our welcome reception, food truck dinner and the Granicus beach bonfire after party.

Tuesday’s sessions have something for everyone including our focus on the topic of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Community Engagement.  Tactical topics include writing in plain language, branding, websites and campaigns.

New this year we are honoring our EPIC Award winners during lunch on Tuesday.  Our Award dinner on Wednesday night will highlight our special individual award winners, our new category – DE&I and our “Best of Show” winners.

Wednesday and Thursday’s education sessions include topics such as public speaking, social media, canva design, video tours, media relations, housing needs and more.

Finally – while the conference schedule is packed with content, you’ll have time to recharge in the JPW recharge lounge on Tuesday or over dinner Tuesday evening where you can enjoy local restaurants.  On Wednesday consider participating in our morning yoga or walk along the bay. Or consider enjoying the San Diego area prior to the start of sessions on Monday or after the conference concludes on Thursday.  It’s going to be a full week of education and connection to re-energize you as you return to the office.
