Robin Rockey, APR, is the CEO of RockSpark Communications + Marketing, a full-service agency specializing in modern government communications.

Robin lives at the nexus of government PR, marketing, journalism and business. She recently led the communications and marketing team at the City of San Marcos and served in communications and HR roles at South Coast Water District, AAA and a Fortune 50 tech company, to name a few.

A passionate storyteller, Robin is the author of 100 Things to Do in Orange County Before You Die, a new travel guidebook from Reedy Press. She has written for multiple magazines, including Sunset and AAA Westways.

Lenka Wright

With more than a decade of experience in public communications, Lenka Wright tells stories with a passion as she’s led citywide communications for cities in California, Washington and Texas. Prior to her career in public service, Lenka was an award-winning news anchor/reporter at T.V. stations in Florida, New York, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming where she told stories under deadline pressure.

Lenka taught undergraduate and graduate classes, including crisis communications courses, as an adjunct professor for National University’s Strategic Communications program. She is also a certified public manager through Texas State University-San Marcos.

Thanks to her military spouse, Lenka has lived in many parts of the country. No matter where she has resided and how different these places may be, Lenka can attest that good storytelling remains a must-have ingredient for effective communications.
