Nestled on 26 acres in the heart of Silicon Valley, Sunnyvale’s civic center campus is home to one of the most innovative city halls in the country. Get a behind-the-scenes look at this award-winning “treehouse-inspired” building designed to be the nation’s first LEED Platinum and Net Zero Energy city hall. Then take a short stroll to the City’s public safety headquarters through towering redwoods and a public amphitheater. There you’ll explore the newly built LEED Gold all-electric building addition that now houses Sunnyvale’s permanent Emergency Operations Center.

During this exclusive familiarization tour, attendees will:

• Learn about the facility design and community engagement strategies from one of the project’s senior consultants at SmithGroup
• Tour City Hall to see community and office spaces, public art and sustainability features, including furniture made with reclaimed redwoods from the site
• Get a rare look inside the new Emergency Operations Center and gain insights into Sunnyvale’s approach to emergency operations and communications
