Lael Wageneck, APR and Julia McHugh, APR will dispel myths about the process, answer questions about what it really takes to complete the credential and share insights into how the APR can make you a more well-rounded communicator from both the government communications and private sector perspectives.

Lael is currently the PIO for the Santa Barbara County Department of Public Works and a past president for CAPIO. Julia is the owner of Julia McHugh PR and teaches public relations at Santa Barbara City College.

The event is being held jointly with the PRSA California Gold Coast Chapter.
