It’s #CACitiesWeek – a weeklong celebration to recognize and appreciate the many ways that our cities make life better for all who call California home. 

CAPIO is proud to represent government communicators across the Golden State — the professionals behind the messages that inform, connect, and build trust in our communities. 

Here are some ways you can participate: 

• Adopt a city council resolution declaring support for California Cities Week. Share a press release announcing the city council resolution.
• Share your city’s uniqueness! Post a fun fact about your city, tag us @CalCities, and use the hashtag #CACitiesWeek. 
• Highlight local projects! Did your city recently complete a project that benefits residents? Share your #LocalWorks story and tag us! 
• Show your local government pride! Tell us what you love most about serving your great city. 
• Repost a Cal Cities social media post celebrating #CACitiesWeek. 
• Attending City Leaders Summit? Take a picture at our photo booth with the “Cities Week” sign and share it on social media!
