CAPIO Awards
Of course the annual conference also means the presentation of CAPIO's "Excellence in Communications" Awards, recognizing the most creative and effective efforts in the areas of communication and marketing campaigns, newsletter production, photography, special events, writing, Web site development and video production. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. on March 5, 2010.
We are also currently accepting nominations for the Paul B. Clark Award, the highest award bestowed by CAPIO upon a select few of its members. Named to honor the memory of an esteemed colleague and founding member of this organization, the Paul B. Clark Award is given to an individual who, through his or her personal and professional demeanor, contributions and work ethic, demonstrates the essence of the public information official and communicator.
