We are excited to be planning the CAPIO 2021 Annual Conference! While many of the sessions from the anticipated 2020 conference program are being moved to the 2021 agenda, we know there are new topics you want to learn about or want to share.
So, we are opening up our 2021 Call for Speakers to help round out our 2021 Annual Conference program. The conference will be held at the Resort at Squaw Creek in Olympic Valley, November 2 – 5, 2021.
We are looking for beginning, mid-level and advanced communications topics including strategic communications, crisis communications, writing, public speaking, media relations, social media, website development, community events, photography, infographics, internal communications, outreach tools and more. Case studies of successful (or unsuccessful) work can also be valuable learning tools.
There is also a box to check if you would like to be considered for a CAPIO webinar or workshop in addition or in lieu of the conference.
Session speakers receive discounted conference registration.
Deadline: April 6, 2021
About the Judging Process
This year CAPIO will review incoming proposals alongside conference session topics that were scheduled for our 2020 conference. The sessions go through an independent review by CAPIO’s speaker committee and are scored on a quantitative evaluation form. Submissions that provide clear learning outcomes and show mid to higher level training topics may have stronger appeal to the review committee. In addition, we encourage affiliate / supplier partners to bring an agency representative to provide insights from the client perspective on a topic. During a typical year, about half the sessions are from first-time CAPIO presenters.
