Things to Do in Sonoma County

Armstrong Redwoods - Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve is an 805-acre park of the steely and magnificent Sequoia semper-virens, commonly known as coastal Redwoods.  There are walking trails throughout the reserve, visitors can drive thought he reserve to picnic lunch locations. 

Safari West (Santa Rosa) - Visitors to wine country with a wild taste for adventure can explore and embrace the spirit of Africa while getting up close and personal with giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and many of the other 800 animals that inhabit the reserve.  Safari West 707-579-2551 Reservations required

Zip Line Adventures - Sonoma Canopy Tours offers you a unique way to discover the redwood forest.  You'll travel on zip lines, cross sky bridges, climb a majestic spiral staircase, and end your tour with a rappel back to the first floor, while taking in incredible views of the forest. Wine Tasting Tours

Sonoma Wine Trolley Arriving early or staying an extra night?  Try the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley that departs from Historic Sonoma Plaza (Sonoma Plaza is a 30 minute drive from the Hyatt Santa Rosa).  Tours leave at 10 am (6 hour tour).
