As public information officials, we are often asked to speak at seminars, conferences and workshops. CAPIO members are also frequently asked to provide referrals of potential speakers for various organizational events. At this stage, we are looking for CAPIO members who are interested in being included in a Speakers’ Bureau that would be used by fellow members as well as by other organizations. Our goal is to publish a list of potential CAPIO speakers along with their topics of expertise and geographic locations in which they are willing to speak. We will also include a guide on how to select a speaker for your event, workshop, conference, etc., plus a form that you can use to evaluate the speaker.
