Meggan Valencia

Meggan Valencia is the Public Information Officer at Rancho California Water District where she oversees the District’s outreach efforts, community relations, media efforts, education programs, legislative affairs, development of the quarterly newsletter including a rate newsletter and the consumer confidence report.  Valencia also developed an outreach campaign to inform customers of changes in the rate system which included advertising with television, radio, social networking, and various other outlets. 

Prior to joining Rancho California Water District Valencia was the Administrative Director for the Center for Water Education developing many new education and outreach programs.  Valencia has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Business Marketing and a Masters in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
