CAPIO’s Excellence in Communications award finalists announced

CAPIO’s Excellence in Communications 2011 Award finalists have been announced and winners will be honored during the annual ceremony on Thursday April 14, 7 p.m., at the Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza in Sacramento.

CAPIO’s award categories are designed to showcase the best of the best in government  communications, said Rachel McGuire, CAPIO first vice president and awards chair. “This year’s entries raised the bar for professionalism and diversity.”

Finalists will receive one of three awards: Award of Excellence, Award of Distinction and Award of Merit. This year’s finalists are:
